Chronology of celebratory birthday events:
11:45 am - Tyler and I met at home for a delicious meatball sub lunch
12:30 - 7:00 pm - Parent teacher conferences seem to fall on Tyler's birthday every year, and he has to stay at work late...lame. But, at least it gave me time to whip up this birthday made Valentine's day treat.
7:30 pm - The celebrations begin!
8:45 pm - The party has digressed to an almost painful microcosm of our technology-drenched generation...

Love that last picture! That's what my kids look like after sitting through a 15 min. FHE lesson without their phones in hand! Withdrawal!
