Random Thoughts

When my mom was here, I served a real French dinner, or at least as close as I could make it...here are a couple of the highlights

A pre-dinner drink to enjoy over a lively conversation: Fruit juice with an orange slice and a fresh mint leaf (Don't worry, Cindy, I'll omit the mint next time)

A cheese platter: gruyère, brie and muenster

We ended the meal by staring out the window at this awesome double rainbow!

Next comes wedding stuff, more wedding stuff, then even more wedding stuff!!

I've been working on these cute little guestbooks, there'll be one at each table for people to write messages and I'm gonna put some edge-burned, sepia pictures of the beautiful couple.

Next, the bouquets:
Bridesmaids - cream hydrangea

Bridal bouquet - red hydrangeas with cream roses. This picture does not do it justice; it is seriously soooo pretty!!

Lastly, my bridesmaid dress...except I'll switch out all the white accessories for ivory.

So that's what I've been up to for the past couple weeks.

The Rexburg RUSH Triathlon

This was a perfect race day. Sunny, warm, with no wind, and warm water. This is the first race that Kelsey and I have done where we have had so many fans, so we have pictures this time! The swim was fun; Kelsey swam like a shark cruising past other competitors.

Can you spot us?... just kidding, we don't even know where we are.

Transition 1

The bike ride.

The final stretch of the run.

It was such a good feeling to have finished the race.

We got medals for completing the race which we proudly wore the rest of the day, and will probably wear for the next few days too. Kelsey and I are the greatest team, and it was so much fun doing the race together. Next on our list, THE IRONMAN! Well, maybe. Stay tuned for France pictures, they really will come...maybe
