Aloha!

Maui was AMAZING!! I can't believe how beautiful it was! I loved everything about the trip, except for the early morning wake up calls, I'm sure Keith can tell you what a grouch I am in the morning! We had such a fun-filled week! Here are some of the highlights:

This was the view from our balcony

Ahhh, the ocean...this is heaven

The water was so clear and blue!

Windsurfing was really cool to watch!

On the way to Hana, there were some awesome beaches with black sand

We got a glimpse of a Luau at a really fancy hotel!

I loved the palm trees!!! Especially while the sun was setting!

These are from the Aquarium

Still from the Aquarium, but I swear we saw the same fish when we went snorkeling! I think snorkeling was my favorite thing that we did; the clear water and all the beautiful fish were just paradise!

Tyler and I picked some fresh coconuts and a banana off of some trees in our resort

It took us forever to finally crack it, and it didn't taste very good, but it was still way cool!!

Finally, the tropical flowers!

I wish I could make arrangements like this!

Ok, Kaylene, this one is for you! This was the biggest and most delicious shave ice ever!

For more pictures, go to Cindy's blog (she's amazing!), http://www.reddempire.blogspot.com/

Side note: I found this online, this is us sprinting to the finish line at our half marathon!

Teton Dam Marathon

I know it was a few weeks ago, but here are a couple pictures from our half-marathon.

I wish there were some action shots, but it's kinda hard when we're running together the whole time, ya know? It was so fun, despite the pain! And we have a new found respect for anyone who can do a whole marathon, I don't think we'll ever try that!

OH CANADA

Our trip, in chronological order:

After driving through Montana, I decided I want to live there, and here are my reasons why:

Reason #1

Reason #2

Reason #3

Crossing the border

Finally, we got to Calgary

Downtown Calgary

The Calgary Olympic Park. I had a cousin who ski jumped off this to see how he measured up to the Olympians...he broke his leg on it.

The day before we left, we took a trip into Banff National Park

There's nothing like the Canadian Rockies!

We saw some sweet wildlife!

Like this family of rams; a daddy and 2 babies!

And this elk that was just on his way across the street, he almost walked into our car!
In this picture he looks far away, but that's just because I was so scared when I was taking the pictures of him right outside my window that they came out all shaky!

We also went to beautiful Lake Louise

It was beautiful from the shore, but we had to hike a few "kilometers" to get this view

Of course, the trip wouldn't be complete without stopping at a chocolate shop to get some fudge!

We had such a wonderful time with my 2 favorite people!!

Although Canada was very nice, we came back home with an increased pride for our homeland!
