OH CANADA

Our trip, in chronological order:

After driving through Montana, I decided I want to live there, and here are my reasons why:

Reason #1

Reason #2

Reason #3

Crossing the border

Finally, we got to Calgary

Downtown Calgary

The Calgary Olympic Park. I had a cousin who ski jumped off this to see how he measured up to the Olympians...he broke his leg on it.

The day before we left, we took a trip into Banff National Park

There's nothing like the Canadian Rockies!

We saw some sweet wildlife!

Like this family of rams; a daddy and 2 babies!

And this elk that was just on his way across the street, he almost walked into our car!
In this picture he looks far away, but that's just because I was so scared when I was taking the pictures of him right outside my window that they came out all shaky!

We also went to beautiful Lake Louise

It was beautiful from the shore, but we had to hike a few "kilometers" to get this view

Of course, the trip wouldn't be complete without stopping at a chocolate shop to get some fudge!

We had such a wonderful time with my 2 favorite people!!

Although Canada was very nice, we came back home with an increased pride for our homeland!

School's Out for the Summer!!

Tyler's finally out of school and now the party begins!!

Some of the things we're looking forward to this summer:

First of all, I can't wait till we're this tan again!

Rock climbing as often as we can!

We have our marathon in 2 weeks, then 2 triathlons to do this summer!

We're excited to go outside and do some exploring!

Finally, we're most excited to do all our traveling this summer!! Next week we're going up to Canada to visit my grandparents in their new house. Next we'll go to Hawaii with the Redds! They go every year, but this is my first time going there, so I'm stoked!!! After that we've got our grand finale of vacations: our month long trip to France! We'll spend a few days in Paris, then spend most of the time in Montpellier, in the south of France, with a few day trips to Barcelona, and some other cities.

This summer will go down in history as "Our Summer of Fun"!

Brad and Camille's Wedding

Last weekend we went down to Bountiful for Brad and Camille's wedding. It was such a beautiful day! (except for the snow) I also got to meet some of Tyler's family that I still hadn't met. We are just so happy for Brad and Camille, they are so perfect together! Even though I felt like I was being totally annoying at the time, I hope they'll be happy to have some extra pictures! I took tons of them, but here are just a few of my favorite shots:

Walking out of the temple

I just love this picture, you can tell how much these sisters love each other!

A handsome groomsman and beautiful bridesmaids

The siblings

It was such a beautiful reception and cake!

Happy Birthday to Dad!

Happy Birthday, Dad!
Here are some of the finer memories we've had with you over the past few years:

Traveling to Hawaii while wearing your winter coat and blanket!

Thanks for all the tutoring to get me through all those math classes.

Moose Lake with the "Vicious Fishes Pants".

Mama's Fish House...always a classic.

We can see where Luke gets his paleontology skills.

Thanks for wearing that green tie at the wedding, even though I know you secretly didn't like it.

And how could we forget Yellowstone...

We're looking forward to this year's Yellowstone adventure.

Let's not forget all those Hollywood plums that we look forward to so much each year! Thanks for protecting the tree with the electric fence.

And last but not least, the boat days.

Thanks for all you do, Dad. Happy Birthday!

Spring at Temple Square

I know, I know... this is way old! But better late than never, right!?
We went down to Utah for General Conference weekend and spent some time at Temple Square. It is just so beautiful in the springtime. I also got to use this time to practice my photography skills. These are some of my favorite pictures:
